-An interactive introduction to Healthy Boundaries 101 that will include video presentations, conversation, role plays*

CIVIL RIGHTS & JUSTICE HISTORY TOUR
-Eligible for Clergy & Lay Leaders in Eligible to Clergy & Lay Leaders in congregations
-Limited Participation: 55 Participants
-Where: Sites in KC, KS and KC MO
-When: 9 am – 3:30 pm
-Description: a chartered bus tour facilitated by historian Erik Stafford will take participants to places where systemic racism was evident, confronted, and still active in the church’s front yard. The tour includes a visit to Central High School and a conversation with school officials. Part of what will make this tour more than a learning experience will be dialogue that encourages action. A box lunch will be provided.

-Description: building upon a brief review of Disciples work in anti-racism to date, this workshop will introduce participants to new information, resources, and exercises designed to help them engage more faithfully and effectively in the work of dismantling systemic racism in the local church, Region, and community
-Who: Clergy and lay leaders
-In-Person: 9 am – 3 pm, September 17 at Merriam Christian Church -
