  • CIVIL RIGHTS & JUSTICE HISTORY TOUR
    -Eligible for Clergy & Lay Leaders in Eligible to Clergy & Lay Leaders in congregations
    -Limited Participation: 55 Participants
    -Where: Sites in KC, KS and KC MO
    -When: 9 am 3:30 pm
    -Description: a chartered bus tour facilitated by historian Erik Stafford will take participants to places where systemic racism was evident, confronted, and still active in the church’s front yard. The tour includes a visit to Central High School and a conversation with school officials. Part of what will make this tour more than a learning experience will be dialogue that encourages action. A box lunch will be provided.
