Rev. Pedro Ramos Goycolea Pastor, Comunidad Limen Christian Church

The Rev. Pedro Ramos Goycolea serves as Pastor of Comunidad Limen Christian Church in Tucson, Arizona. Following God’s calling, Pedro and his wife, Alejandra, moved to the United States in 2006 from Sonora, Mexico, to start a new church in Sahuarita, AZ. He holds an M.Div. degree from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, and is an ordained minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). While attending PSR he served as Pastoral Associate at Eden UCC in Hayward, California. After graduating, Pedro served as Program Director of the New Mexico Faith Coalition for Immigrant Justice and as Senior Pastor of Iglesia Congregacional Unida UCC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pedro is an amateur musician, a little league baseball coach, and a steady progressive voice. Pedro and Alejandra reside in Sahuarita with their two boys, Santiago and Agustin.


Rev. Dr. Bob Howard Retired Disciples Minister

Rev. Dr. Bob Howard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, his M.Div. from Phillips Graduate Seminary, a Ph.D. in Preaching and Worship from Vanderbilt University. He has served as Pastor of Community Christian Church in Tempe, First Christian Church in Globe, and Interim Pastor at Apache Wells Community Church in Mesa, First Christian Church in Scottsdale, and Desert Dove Christian Church in Tucson. Rev. Dr. Howard retired in 2023. He is a life-long Disciple of Christ, ordained to the ministry by that body. Married to Marilyn, also an ordained Disciples minister, together they are parents of a son, RJ, a graduate of ASU, a 2017 Disciples Peace Fellowship Peace Intern, and a recent National Benevolent Association EXPLOR intern.
